Christina Walsh brings more than two decades of leadership experience across health and social care to her role as Chief Executive Officer at Inspire Neurocare. She is dedicated to creating exceptional environments where people with complex neurological conditions can achieve the best possible outcomes and live meaningful lives.
With a strong focus on quality, performance and person-centred care, Christina is passionate about building cultures where people feel valued, supported and inspired to deliver excellence every day.
She combines strategic insight with hands-on understanding of frontline care and believes that empowering teams to grow and innovate is key to delivering sustainable, high-quality services. Christina is leading Inspire Neurocare into its next chapter - strengthening partnerships, investing in people and ensuring every person in our care has the opportunity to thrive.

Operations Director

Charity is an experienced healthcare leader with more than 15 years’ experience across mental health, neurorehabilitation and complex care services. As Operations Director at Inspire Neurocare, she oversees service delivery across the organisation, ensuring that high-quality, person-centred care is embedded in every aspect of practice.
Before joining Inspire Neurocare, Charity spent over ten years with Partnerships in Care and eight years with Elysium Healthcare.
Charity combines strong clinical insight with operational expertise, working closely with teams to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care. She is passionate about empowering colleagues to grow, promoting professional development and building environments where people can achieve their full potential.

Shelley brings extensive experience in senior quality and governance roles across health and social care, supported by her background as a mental health nurse and former CQC Inspector. With expertise in auditing, safeguarding and regulatory compliance, she is passionate about supporting teams to deliver safe, personalised and values-led care. Shelley takes a collaborative, solution-focused approach, helping services build confidence, strengthen quality and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Alex brings extensive experience in specialist neurological care and is deeply committed to helping people achieve their full potential. She leads with curiosity, collaboration and a strong belief in investing in people. Her approach focuses on building confident, values-led teams who deliver meaningful, person-centred support every day.

Richard Clark

Centre Manager

Richard joins Inspire Neurocare with a wealth of experience in operational and strategic management in specialist healthcare services. A registered Occupational Therapist with 27 years’ experience working with male, female, adolescent and older adult services including learning disability, neuropsychiatry, autistic spectrum disorder, mental health and personality disorder ranging from medium security through to community houses.

He is commercially aware having developed a number of new services, been instrumental in service re-design and established new pathways of care across multiple sites. He has successfully managed and developed large multi-professional teams and is committed to high quality patient-centred care.

Richard has worked closely with commissioners, regulatory bodies and peer reviewers to monitor and continuously improve standards of care, turning around a number of services with low CQC ratings.

Dr Jonathan Mamo

Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine

Dr Jonathan Mamo is Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at Inspire Neurocare and Clinical Lead for Neurological Rehabilitation at the Royal Berkshire and West Berkshire Community Hospital. His work focuses on supporting individuals with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and complex neurodegenerative conditions to rebuild function and improve quality of life.

With a background in acute and surgical care, Dr Mamo brings a clear understanding that recovery extends beyond the hospital. He is passionate about helping patients reclaim independence through intensive rehabilitation and believes that everyone deserves the chance to rebuild a meaningful life following injury or illness.

Dr Mamo is also involved in national NHSE initiatives to improve outcomes for spinal patients. He considers project outcomes and seeing patients exceed expectations in their recovery as the most rewarding aspects of his work.

Dr Hamid Sultan

Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine

Dr Hamid Sultan has extensive expertise in managing acute and chronic neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), and neurodegenerative disorders.

He is a Consultant in Neurological Rehabilitation at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and provides specialist guidance to residents and staff at Inspire Neurocare Camberley.
