Her approach focuses on building confident, values-led teams who deliver meaningful, person-centred support every day.
Centre Manager
Richard joins Inspire Neurocare with a wealth of experience in operational and strategic management in specialist healthcare services. A registered Occupational Therapist with 27 years’ experience working with male, female, adolescent and older adult services including learning disability, neuropsychiatry, autistic spectrum disorder, mental health and personality disorder ranging from medium security through to community houses.
He is commercially aware having developed a number of new services, been instrumental in service re-design and established new pathways of care across multiple sites. He has successfully managed and developed large multi-professional teams and is committed to high quality patient-centred care.
Richard has worked closely with commissioners, regulatory bodies and peer reviewers to monitor and continuously improve standards of care, turning around a number of services with low CQC ratings.
Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine
Dr Jonathan Mamo is Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at Inspire Neurocare and Clinical Lead for Neurological Rehabilitation at the Royal Berkshire and West Berkshire Community Hospital. His work focuses on supporting individuals with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and complex neurodegenerative conditions to rebuild function and improve quality of life.
With a background in acute and surgical care, Dr Mamo brings a clear understanding that recovery extends beyond the hospital. He is passionate about helping patients reclaim independence through intensive rehabilitation and believes that everyone deserves the chance to rebuild a meaningful life following injury or illness.
Dr Mamo is also involved in national NHSE initiatives to improve outcomes for spinal patients. He considers project outcomes and seeing patients exceed expectations in their recovery as the most rewarding aspects of his work.
