Our interdisciplinary team provides specialist spinal cord injury rehabilitation and complex nursing care for people living with paraplegia, tetraplegia and associated physical health needs, often over the long term.
We focus on enabling people to live with as much independence as possible through expert nursing care, targeted therapeutic interventions and the practical adaptations required for life following spinal injury.
For some, a good outcome may be to regain function and increase independence. For others, it is about living well with long-term, high-dependency needs — with dignity, stability and quality of life at the centre of care.
Our Spinal Cord Injury Pathway is suitable for people with complex physical and clinical needs, including those requiring tracheostomy care, ventilatory support, PEG feeding, complex respiratory management, pressure care and ongoing specialist support.
