Inspire Neurocare Worcester Rated ‘Good’ in All Key Areas by CQC

Inspire Neurocare Worcester has received a glowing review in its latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) report. Our service, which supports individuals living with complex neurological conditions, has been rated ‘Good’ across all five key areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-led.

The CQC's latest inspection report highlighted significant improvements in person-centred care, governance, and quality assurance systems, which have positively impacted the lives of the people we support. These findings confirm that we are delivering a high standard of care and support for people with complex neurological needs.

Positive Feedback from Families and Residents

The CQC report includes positive feedback from the people we support and their families. One relative shared:

“They take good care of them; they go above and beyond.”

Another described the home’s environment as welcoming and well-maintained:

“I love it there. It’s always clean and very spacious.”

People we support also spoke warmly about our team, describing them as “more like friends than carers.” The inspection team observed that staff consistently treated residents with dignity and respect, creating a positive atmosphere where individuals feel valued.

Excellence in Rehabilitation and Support

Interim Home Manager, Amanda Hazelwood, expressed her pride in the team’s achievements, stating:

“We are so pleased with this result, which reflects the exceptional work of our dedicated team. At Inspire Neurocare Worcester, we take great pride in providing person-centred care that not only ensures safety and comfort but also actively supports our residents in their rehabilitation journeys. Through personalised therapy plans, innovative activities, and strong community links, we empower individuals to regain independence and achieve their goals.”

Our focus on independence is particularly highlighted, with the report noting that our residents benefit from a blend of personalised care, cutting-edge therapy, and access to community activities. This includes a variety of events such as a summer BBQ with a pizza oven and plans for an upcoming Halloween ball.

A Commitment to Quality Care

The inspection team praised us for our safe recruitment practices, well-trained team, and robust governance systems. These improvements have enabled the people we support to experience greater integration into the community and an enhanced quality of life. The Inspire Neurocare team’s dedication has ensured that residents feel supported in achieving their personal goals while maintaining their dignity and independence.

Inspire Neurocare Worcester’s latest success reflects our commitment to providing exceptional neurological care and rehabilitation. With this positive outcome, we aim to continue setting new standards in the field, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Integrating rehabilitation into every interaction

At Inspire Neurocare, we believe that rehabilitation should be part of every aspect of our residents’ daily lives. Rather than just confining our efforts to scheduled therapy sessions, we work to integrate rehabilitation into routine activities and interactions.

This holistic approach is central to providing care that is truly responsive and impactful. Claudiu Patrintasu, our Clinical Lead, highlighted the importance of this approach:

“The CQC report emphasises that person-centred care, tailored to align with the individual preferences and goals of our residents, is fundamentally at the heart of everything we do. We strive to empower our residents by involving them in their care plans and ensuring their voices are heard.”

We understand that the journey of rehabilitation is ongoing, and we empower our residents every step of the way, supporting them as they work towards regaining their independence and achieving their personal goals.
