As the festive season draws near, the team at Inspire Neurocare is embracing the spirit of giving in a unique and meaningful way. Instead of sending out traditional Christmas cards this year, we’re reaching out to you to join us in supporting a cause that truly makes a difference.

We’ve selected four exceptional charities that work tirelessly to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and neurological conditions. Now, we’re asking you to help us decide where to direct a £250 donation.

How It Works

Taking part is simple! All you need to do is cast your vote for the charity you feel most connected to, and the one with the most votes will receive our donation. This small act of kindness can have a profound impact on the lives of those these charities support.

So, who are the charities you can choose from? Let us tell you a bit more about their incredible work.

The Charities

  1. Back Up Trust
Back Up Trust is a national charity that empowers individuals of all ages and backgrounds to rebuild their confidence and independence following a spinal cord injury. They offer a range of services, including wheelchair skills training, mentoring, and support for families, enabling people to live fulfilling lives after injury.

  2. Brainkind (formerly The Disabilities Trust)
As the UK's leading charity in this field, Brainkind provides innovative rehabilitation and ongoing support to help individuals thrive after a brain injury. Their comprehensive services ensure that life after brain injury and with other neurological conditions can be well-lived.

  3. Child Brain Injury Trust
This organisation offers emotional and practical support, information, and learning opportunities for families and professionals affected by childhood acquired brain injury across the UK. Their work is vital in helping children and their families navigate the challenges that arise following such injuries.

  4. Headway
Headway works to improve life after brain injury by providing essential support and information services, including a free helpline, publications, and local groups and branches. Their efforts are crucial in assisting individuals and families to adjust and move forward after brain injury.
