Inspire Neurocare welcomes Shelley Rabbitt as Director of Quality and Governance

Inspire Neurocare is pleased to welcome Shelley Rabbitt as our new Director of Quality and Governance. Shelley brings a wealth of experience from senior quality and governance leadership roles across the health and social care sector, alongside a strong clinical background as a qualified mental health nurse. Her career also includes four years as a CQC Inspector and accreditations such as C-CAF external auditing and Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Shelley’s career has been shaped by a commitment to ensuring people receive personalised, safe and compassionate support that reflects their goals, preferences and individuality. She works closely with teams to understand needs, identify challenges and find practical, sustainable solutions. With in-depth regulatory insight and a strong understanding of current CQC Quality Statements, she brings valuable oversight in helping services to maintain high standards and prepare confidently for inspection.

Passionate about coaching and motivating teams, Shelley has a proven track record in driving improvement through values-led leadership. She believes real progress happens when organisations move beyond basic compliance and embrace a culture of continuous improvement, transparency and outcome-focused support. Her approach is both compassionate and practical, grounded in real-world service challenges and a belief that everyone deserves dignified, life-enhancing support.

With a rich blend of clinical knowledge, regulatory experience and strategic leadership, Shelley offers a well-rounded perspective on quality and governance. Her work will strengthen organisational oversight, support services to celebrate strengths and proactively address areas of concern.
