Inspire Neurocare appoints Professor Nick Alderman as Clinical Director

Inspire Neurocare is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Nick Alderman as Clinical Director, further strengthening its commitment to delivering outstanding specialist neurological rehabilitation.

Professor Alderman is one of the UK's leading clinical neuropsychologists, bringing more than four decades of experience across clinical practice, research, teaching and service development. Throughout his career, he has helped shape rehabilitation services and clinical practice, earning an international reputation for his contribution to the field.

As Clinical Director, Professor Alderman will provide strategic clinical leadership across Inspire Neurocare's pathways, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to support the continued development of high-quality, evidence-based care for people with complex neurological conditions.

Professor Alderman has held senior clinical leadership roles with a number of leading independent healthcare providers and has also held honorary and visiting appointments at several UK universities. He is currently Honorary Professor at Swansea University and has published extensively, contributing to many of the assessment tools and outcome measures used within neurological rehabilitation services today.

His contribution to the profession has been recognised through numerous honours and awards, including Fellowship of the British Psychological Society, the UK Acquired Brain Injury Forum's Stephen McAleese Award for Inspiration, the British Psychological Society's Award for Distinguished Contribution to Practice and, most recently, the inaugural Neuro Rehab Times Lifetime Contribution Award.
