Inspire Neurocare Worcester provides neurorehabilitation, recovery, and residential care for those aged 18+ living with complex neurological conditions, brain and spinal injuries and stroke.

Elegantly combining style and function, Inspire Worcester is a contemporary, community based neurological rehabilitation service designed for recovery and specialist long-term care.

The 43 light, spacious bedrooms are over twice the usual size in such services, fully soundproofed and with underfloor heating controlled independently. As well as ensuite bathrooms in every room, there is assistive technology built-in, underfloor heating and WiFi throughout.

A one-bedroom self-contained apartment provides a step-down service for those looking to develop more independence.

In addition to dedicated areas for families and individuals to come together to cook, eat and relax, the wide corridors, specialist facilities including the 32 square metre physiotherapy gym and interior-designed spaces throughout create an atmosphere of comfort, possibility and potential.

Outside, the landscaped grounds provide areas of quiet retreat as well as spaces for socialising and summer barbeques.

Our Team

Our dedicated team of specialist includes Dr Damon Hoad, Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, carers - our Life Skills Facilitators, nurses, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists.

This multi-disciplinary team work closely with individuals we support to develop a rehabilitation plan with goals and outcomes tailored on an individual basis to the specific needs of each patient.

The referral process usually begins with a referral from a doctor or funding body, usually while the individual is in hospital.

The Inspire team visit to assess the individual, creating a report detailing the rehabilitation pathway and care we can provide.

From this point, the referrer and family will review the assessment report, and if it is decided that Inspire Neurocare is the right place, the team will work with all those concerned to begin the admission process.
